ALLOCATION OF A DWELLING

When a dwelling becomes vacant, the lessor shall allocate the vacant dwelling to an applicant in the order of priority determined on the list of eligible persons.

The lessor shall inform by mail the applicant who is entitled to a dwelling in low rental housing that a dwelling has been allocated to him.

A time limit of 7 days is allowed an applicant to declare his acceptance or refusal. Failure to reply within that time shall be deemed a refusal. When an applicant refuses a dwelling offered to him, the lessor shall offer the dwelling to the next applicant on the list of eligible persons.
